Royal Challengers Bangalore have been suffering from an injury crisis for the whole preseason now. They have almost all of their star players ruled out either for the whole campaign or will miss the vital first few weeks of the tournament.

The preparations of all the teams are going on smoothly except for the Bangalore-based side which has seen one of its youngest stars get injured for an indefinite period. Sarfaraz Khan, the under-19 star who awed everyone with his superb batting last season got injured during the training on Monday. The young Sarfaraz injured his leg while training.

More bad news followed for the men in red and black as their stand-in captain AB de Villiers who has a sour back has also been ruled out of the opening game against the defending champions in Hyderabad. The team will now be without Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, AB de Villiers, Mitchell Starc and Sarfaraz Khan. The skipper Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both have shoulder injuries while the latter is ruled out for the whole season.

Mitchell Starc pulled out of the IPL early citing personal problems as the reason. The South African star, AB de Villiers, was absolutely gutted because of his injury. He took to Twitter to let out his frustration but Brendon McCullum, the Gujarat Lions opener trolled him in return.

AB de Villiers tweeted saying that he was disappointed to miss the IPL opener and wished the covering captain Shane Watson good luck. The Tweet read, “Really disappointed to be missing the opening game of the IPL tomorrow, good luck to @ShaneRWatson33 and the rest of the @RCBTweets boys!”

To this Brendon McCullum hilariously trolled RCB and said that they need to include the coach Daniel Vettori to complete the playing eleven. The tweet was, “@ABdeVilliers17 @ShaneRWatson33 @RCBTweets Dodgy back again bro? You fellas almost need to roll out the coach for game 1!?”

RCB will play Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL opener.
