India thumped the hosts in the Test series performing an incredible whitewash and marked the beginning of Ravi Shastri’s tenure as the Indian head coach with a bang. Amidst the celebrations, Anushka Sharma decided to join the party and give her boyfriend Virat Kohli a splendid company at the island nation.
Virat Kohli made arrangements to welcome his girlfriend and involved her in the team’s gigantic celebrations. Anushka Sharma also posed for the shutterbugs with head coach Ravi Shastri and a bunch of Sri Lankan fans. Sri Lankan batsman Chamara Kapugedara took the opportunity to meet the Bollywood actress. Kapugedara who is very a much a part of the Sri Lanka squad for the ODIs and the solitary T20 against India clicked a selfie with Anushka Sharma which is going viral on social media.

He termed Anushka Sharma as ‘stunning’ and referred to her as a humble soul. Kapugedara also mentioned that Anushka Sharma is her celebrity crush by putting in a hashtag. Apart from these he also hailed Virat Kohli’s better half as the best actress in the whole of Bollywood.

The One Day Internationals between the two Asian giants will start from the 20th August. It will be a 5 match series which will be followed by a solitary T20 game. The Indian team has seen a few changes as the squad was announced by MSK Prasad. Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami have been rested for the series.
