Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most active cricketers on social media. He often posts pictures of his off time with his family. And from his latest post, it seems that the cricketer loves to use the filters as well. Dhawan posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account, in which he seems to have used one of the popular face swap filters that has made his face look funny and distorted.
Dhawan was the highest run scorer in the recently concluded Champions Trophy 2017, for which he won the golden bat award as well. However, he has not been able to replicate similar form in the on-going series against West Indies where he scored 2 and 5 in the last two innings. In the 4th ODI, West Indies beat India by 11 runs to make the fifth and final one a must-win for India or else the series ends at 2-2.
Jason Holder’s bowling was unplayable in the 4th ODI in which he took a fifer. “Credit to the West Indies bowlers, they created those dot balls that induced those mistakes. We faltered with the bat and that can happen in this game. We just have to put this behind us and come back fresh for the next game,” Virat Kohli said in the post-match conference after losing the game.
The caption of the photo read, “Goodnite guys its nite time here..Have lovely sleep.”
Indian batsmen need to step up
India’s batting line-up, which collapsed in the 4th game, will have to buckle up in the 5th game to be played tomorrow, July 6, at Kingston. After that, the two teams will play a solitary T20I before India return home and prepare themselves for the tour to Sri Lanka that is scheduled for later this month.
