Colin Munro was awarded the player of the tournament award and not many could’ve debated with that choice. The swashbuckling batsman was outstanding for the eventual champions Trinbago and he also ended up as the highest run-getter of the season.

With a tally of 567 runs in 13 games at a stupendous average of 51.55, Munro let his willow do all the talking. He scored six fifties in the tournament which also includes a match-winning 68* off 39 in the final and ensured that the Knight Riders had very little trouble in chasing down the target.
