Rajasthan Royals (RR) are just a win away from securing a place in the play-offs of this year's Indian Premier League. Standing in their way are in-form Delhi Capitals (DC) who are trying their best to make it into the top four. The exciting clash is set to be played at the Arun Jaitley stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Rajasthan Royals have lost just two games this season and would be looking to secure a finish in the top two during this edition. They have not tinkered with their playing XI much this season and have a fairly strong squad to choose from ahead of the final few league matches.

Here is the Probable Playing XI for Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Capitals
Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler
Yashasvi Jaiswal has finally found the form that he was searching for during the first leg of the tournament. The century against the Mumbai Indians has surely brought back his confidence and has been in great touch of late. He would be looking to continue his stellar form against the Delhi Capitals tomorrow.
It has been a mixed bag kind of a tournament for the England skipper Jos Buttler. He has made some valuable contributions for the side whenever his team required it the most but otherwise, he has often struggled to convert a start into a big one. The opener has also not been fielding so his fitness also might be an issue that the team management might have to think about.

Middle Order: Sanju Samson (C & WK), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer
The skipper Sanju Samson had a rare failure during the defeat to the Sunrisers Hyderabad but he would not be too fussed about it. The right-handed batter has been the ideal number three this season and has played according to the situation. His captaincy has also been on point as his side is currently on course to being the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season.
One of the biggest comebacks this season has been from Riyan Parag as he is enjoying an excellent campaign with the bat. He had an amazing partnership during the last game but was unlucky to give away his wicket.
There was a lot of concern around the form of Dhruv Jurel but the wicket-keeper batter answered it with a great fifty during the game against the Lucknow Super Giants. The number five slot seems to be perfect for him as he has the shots in his locker to perform according to the match situation.
Shimron Hetmyer has been unlucky most of the season as he has not gotten enough chances to perform with the bat due to the top order's brilliant performances. However, whenever called upon the batter has put in some great cameos for the franchise.
All-rounders: Rovman Powell, Ravichandran Ashwin
Just like Shimron Hetmyer, another player who has gotten only a few chances to perform has been Rovman Powell. The all-rounder was roped in for big bucks and was expected to bowl an over or two in every game. However, the team management has stuck to their plan of five main bowlers doing the job. The West Indies skipper was unlucky to give his wicket away on the final ball during the defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad but would not be too concerned about it.
The form of Ravichandran Ashwin might be something that the team management might have to think about as well. The off-spinner has not been amongst the wickets off late and during the middle overs phase has looked meek. This is the only concern during the tremendous campaign that the team is having.
Bowlers: Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal
After an amazing start to the campaign, Yuzvendra Chahal got a call-up to the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024. He had a rare off day during the last game but would be hoping to scalp more wickets to boost his chances of winning the purple cap.
Another player who was rewarded for a good Indian Premier League campaign has been Avesh Khan since the pacer is part of the travelling reserves for the Indian team in the T20 World Cup squad. His economy has been an issue but the speedster has been scalping wickets at regular intervals which is a great sign for the team.

Trent Boult has been doing the same thing that he has done over the years which is taking early wickets. Since the IPL 2021, no player has taken more wickets during the powerplay than Boult. The New Zealand pacer is one of the key players of this team and is also having an excellent season so far for the Rajasthan Royals.
RR predicted XI:
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (C & WK), Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal.
