The Punjab Kings' all-rounder, Harpreet Brar, belongs to the category of left-arm orthodox. The talented batter is capable of hitting big shots and comes as a handy batter who can add a few runs if need be. In case Ravindra Jadeja or Axar Patel are missing, and you need like-to-like replacements. Then he's one of the best options available for the national side ahead.

The tall left-armer keeps it simple and relies more on line and length. Brar has a decent arm ball and possesses a good temperament to succeed at big levels. He has been playing IPL for quite some time now.

Earlier, the 27-year-old has been spotted in the Indian team camp as well. He's been there as a net bowler, which indicates that selectors are keeping an eye on him. If the lanky spinner wants to improve his chances, he needs to work more on his bowling. Brar needs to add more variations to his bowling armoury.
