Megan Schutt has been a proven performer for Australia across formats. She has featured in 79 ODIs and bagged 112 wickets at an economy of 4.19. Talking about the shortest format, the 30-year-old has picked up 122 scalps in 94 matches at an economy of 6.19.

Schutt has rattled batters with her swing and wreaked havoc with the ball. On her day, the Australian pacer has ripped through top-quality batting line-ups for fun and stamped her authority on the cricket field. Her bowling prowess was on display in the first game of the T20I series against Pakistan in January as she took to a sensational five-wicket haul and dismantled the Women in Green.

Schutt has been a match-winner with the ball and as she was at the top of her game leading into the auction, it was expected teams would break their banks to sign her. However, only Royal Challengers Bangalore raised their paddle for the ace pacer at the auction and acquired her for INR 40 lakh.
