India skipper Rohit Sharma lost his calm and used foul language at teammates during Day 1 of the World Test Championship finale against Australia at The Oval. Notably, while changing the field in the second session of the day, the 36-year-old shouted at one of his teammates 'Kya Kar rahe ho *********' and the video of the same went viral on social media.

Notably, the opening day of the final was very frustrating for the Indian bowlers. Other than the early three wickets, nothing really went in their favour as Travis Head and Steve Smith dominated the Indian bowling unit.

On day one, Head went on to become the first cricketer ever to hit a century in the WTC final, as the all-rounder hit 146 runs off 156 deliveries. Meanwhile, Smith is currently batting on 95 runs as their partnership of 251 runs completely shifted the momentum towards Australia.

On the other hand, Indian bowlers have been heavily criticized for their lackluster performance. Sourav Ganguly and Deep Dasgupta on commentary pointed out that the bowlers are not hitting the right areas that are required in Test cricket as either the plan was to bowl too full or short but apparently, none of them worked in front of Head and Smith.

Speaking about the same, India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambrey stated that the bowlers lacked discipline in the middle. He expressed that the team started well but eventually lost their mojo in the middle. India remained wicketless for the last 61 overs of the game on the opening day and would want to better up on the second day.

Meanwhile, Australia will now eye to post a heavy total on the board and put India under tremendous pressure. Notably, the first session of Day 2 is going to be extremely important for both teams as it can very well define the fate of the final.
