WPL 2024: UP Warriorz (UPW) Schedule 2024, Time Table, Dates, Venues, and PDF Download

The second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will begin on February 23, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. UP Warriorz, the other qualified team for the playoffs last year, will play their opening game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on February 24.

The Alyssa Healy-led side was inconsistent in the last edition but despite that, they managed to qualify for the next round. They lost to Mumbai Indians by 72 runs in the Eliminator, which ended their campaign for the season. Keeping their performance of 2023 in mind, they made significant changes to their squad, by adding the likes of Dani Wyatt, Vrinda Dinesh and Saima Thakor among many others.

Meanwhile, they have quality players in the rank, who can help UP challenge for the title. Healy, Sophie Ecclestone, Tahlia McGrath, Deepti Sharma and Grace Harris are proven match-winners and adding Lauren Bell to the side will only boost their chances.

Notably, all teams will play eight league matches, with the leaders directly qualifying for the final. The teams finishing second and third on the table will fight for a spot to make it to the summit clash. Delhi will be hosting the playoffs, with the final slated to take place on March 17.
