Brosid T20 Bash 2022, Day 2: Review

Two matches were played on the second day of the Brosid T-20 Cricket Bash being played at the grounds of Khalifa Cricket Academy, Khusro Degree College in Bareilly. In the first match, Khalifa Cricket Academy defeated 11 Bro Cricket Club by a huge margin of 89 runs. Khalifa Cricket Academy batted first in the contest.

Riding on the back of Zainul Ansari's 70-run knock, Geetansh Dutt's 39-run knock and Mukul Shukla's 23 runs off 8 balls, Khalifa scored 151. In response, 11 Bro Cricket Club team collapsed for just 62 runs, Captain Mahfooz Khan from Khalifa got 4 wickets by giving 4 runs while in the second match IK Collection defeated Badaun Dynamites by a big margin of 114 runs. Prakash scored 59 and Rahul Kapoor scored 44 runs for IK Collection.

From Badaun Dynamite, Abhishek Gupta took 2 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs. In reply, the Badaun Dynamites came out to bat and scored only 77 runs, losing all their wickets. Ankur contributed 50* runs.

Faeem Nizami, and Abhishek Dwivedi got 3, 3 wickets and Pushpendra Gupta got 2 wickets respectively. Prakash was the man of the match. Tomorrow's 1st match is between Khalifa CC vs Youth Alliance and the second match is between IK Collection vs Mustallions Cricket Club.

A total of 15 matches between 12 teams will be played in the tournament and the final will be played on December 17. The team have been divided into four pools, namely A, B, C, and D. All the games will live-streamed on Fancode.
