Ben Stokes announced his return to ODI cricket with a magnificent century against New Zealand in the third ODI of the ongoing series in The Oval. Coming into bat in the third over when England were in trouble at 13/2, Ben Stokes went bonkers against the New Zealand bowlers scoring 182 off 124 balls.

His knock included 15 fours and 9 maximums. Stokes not only registered his highest score but also the highest score by an English batter in ODIs. He along with Dawid Malan added 199 runs for the third wicket which is the highest for England against New Zealand. His knock helped England post a humungous total of 368 in 48.1 overs.
