Two out-of-form sides, Delhi Capitals (DC) led by David Warner and Mumbai Indians (MI) by Rohit Sharma, will meet in Match No. 16 of IPL 2023 on April 11 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The Capitals have played three matches and suffered defeats in all. They lost their opening encounter against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) before losing out to defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT). Their third loss came against the runners-up of the 2022 edition, Rajasthan Royals (RR). Skipper David Warner is among the runs but he is lacking support from any of his other players. Prithvi Shaw is out of form while Rilee Rossouw has not clicked yet.
On the other hand, five-time winners MI are showing similar like the last season where they struggled miserably. Rohit’s team came second-best against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their first game this year while they faced another defeat at the hands of their rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last clash at home. MI will look to turn things around quickly before it is too late, while DC would also hope to get off the mark.
