The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. India women’s wicketkeeper Sushma Verma didn’t miss out on the chance of taking a selfie while working out in the gymnasium. The Shimla-born woman prodigy hasn’t played for India for the last two years and must be itching to make a comeback. Yuzvendra Chahal posted a picture where he was with Dinesh Karthik, Rohit Sharma, Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja. All of them were in formal dress and striking elegant poses. David Warner, the veteran Australian batsman, posted a picture where her daughters can be seen, driving a toy car.
S Sreesanth, the controversial Indian fast bowler, posted a picture from his workout. He captioned it with a motivational quote. The speedster is all set to make a comeback for Kerala in the 2020-21 domestic season provided he manages to prove his form and fitness. Marizanne Kapp, the South Africa women’s all-rounder, posted an adorable picture with her little one. Kapp has been one of her team’s most valuable player and last played in the T20 World Cup in Australia.
Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian left-handed batsman, thanked the doctors on Doctor’s Day. In the COVID-19 pandemic, the doctors have been working day in and day out to bring sanity back into the world.
