Before Virender Sehwag quite aptly shared the quote of the day, Cricketing trends in Twitter today blew up with a few interesting tweets on the day. In fact, today’s edition of trends began with the Graeme Smith and his teammate AB de Villiers inducting their teammate Hashim Amla into the 32 half-century club.

The half-century against Sri Lanka in Johannesburg ensured that the Proteas were not only on the track, but he equaled the record set by Graeme Smith, something that not many batsmen have done. The second thing most were raving about was the blitzkrieg century from the bat of Ben McDermott.
