The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The ODI and T20I series between India and Australia ended a couple of days ago. Even as the Aussies came out trumps in the ODI series, the Men in Blue came out trumps in the T20Is. T Natarajan was outstanding for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League. On the back of his stupendous show, he was called up to the national team. In his maiden appearance for Team India, he picked up a couple of wickets in Canberra.
In the T20Is, Natarajan managed to pick up six wickets. and he conjured praises from his teammates. Even David Warner lauded him for his efforts. Warner was the bowler’s skipper in the IPL. Warner won’t be part of the opening Test in Adelaide as he has been ruled out due to groin injury. Warner didn’t play the last ODI at the Manuka Oval and the three T20Is from there onwards.
Pakistan women’s cricketer Kainat Imtiaz posted a picture where she was seen having a cup of coffee. Harbhajan Singh went down the memory lane and remembered a spell of bowling from his formative days. Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami can’t wait for the Test series to get underway.
