Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

As the whole world celebrated Earth Day on April 22, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan urged everyone to plant trees on the occasion. The left-hander also suggested everyone to avoid plastic and take care of each other in these trying times.

At the moment, the world has been battling against the effects of coronavirus and Dhawan thanked every warrior who has been contributing to curb the pandemic. Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz also shared a tweet regarding Earth Day and urged everyone to stay home and stay safe during the outbreak of COVID-19.

During the time of the pandemic, many prominent names have come forward in spreading awareness about the coronavirus outbreak. Some have also donated a hefty amount to aid in the battle against the debacle. Suresh Raina is one such cricketer who has been spreading awareness on social media. He also shared a heartwarming video of Delhi Police, where they are seen making food and distributing it amongst the poor and the needy.

Amid the coronavirus debacle, most cricketers are indulging in social media sessions with fans or workouts. Ajinkya Rahane did something different and shared a picture with his willow. The right-hander shared a picture with his bat saying that he shares a special bond with it. According to the Mumbai batsman, the most vital partnership which he shares in cricket is with his bat.

England’s Stuart Broad also reminisced his scintillating spell in 2013 against New Zealand and registered his best-ever spell. According to Broad, he and James Anderson always talk and discuss about that day.
