The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around the retirements of two big England cricketers, Jonathan Trott and Paul Collingwood. Both of them served their respective counties, Warwickshire and Durham, for a long time and played their last County season. The likes of Mark Wood, Kevin Pietersen among many cricketers were busy thanking and congratulating for their contribution to England cricket over these years. Both of them had retired from international cricket long back.

Meanwhile, Darren Sammy was excited for the upcoming ICC Women’s World T20 in the Caribbean islands which is all set to commence on November 10 and will go until November 18. Brendon McCullum is celebrating his birthday today and the legendary Kiwi cricketer’s day was made even more special by Sachin Tendulkar as he called him a true gentleman in his wish to the cricketer.

Bangladesh cricketers like Mustafizur Rahman and Mushfiqur Rahim were thrilled after the last night’s win over Pakistan and were waiting eagerly for the final against India in the ongoing Asia Cup. The title clash will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. India spent a relaxing day on the eve of the final and Kedar Jadhav was delighted to spend his time with the veteran MS Dhoni.
