Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all around the globe. Most of the talks and the social media feeds of the day encircled around the international cricket action and the PSL finals held at Lahore yesterday. The Peshawar Zalmi thoroughly outplayed the Quetta Gladiators in the finals of the PSL 2017 held at Lahore last night. Dawid Malan, the Zalmi opener, was pleased to share a picture with Sir Viv Richards after the match. Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard wished his West Indies teammate and Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy for their stupendous win in the finals.
Mohammad Hafeez was graceful with his words of appreciation for the Zalmi team too. Yuvraj Singh had a tweet for the social cause. He shared the helpline number for the ladies in Mumbai. Former English cricketer Mark Butcher opined that it is always better to have a war of words with Brett Lee in the commentary box than to face him on the field.
Former Aussie cricketer Jason Gillespie tried to troll Matthew Hayden with a post about the heat in the comm box too. Adam Gilchrist gave his verdict on the day 3 of the India v Australia Bengaluru Test. Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke also lauded the efforts of Indian batsmen in the second innings. He had his words of praise Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane.
