The World No.1 ODI team England will take on a near 2nd string Australia side in a 5-match ODI series but are coming off a defeat to Scotland. Their 6-run loss against the Scotts was the first occasion of a No.1 ranked side losing an ODI to an Associate nation. This series will be crucial for the Aussies given the World Cup will be played in England next year.
