Former Indian spin duo Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh to take part in an interaction program on IPL

Indian cricket is known to be pivotal comradery of spin bowling as it has given the game some of the world class spinners till date. Then be it the vintage duo of former Indian cricketers Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh, then be it the present pairs of either Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja or the young wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.

After a great partnership on the field and hunting some of the world’s best batsmen all around the world, Kumble and Harbhajan will now be seen together taking part in an interaction programme with the fans based on the Indian Premier League (IPL) in New York.

A promotional programme to be organised by Hotstar

According to Mumbai Mirror, Both the spin legends would be interacting with the fans and sharing their insights about the various divisions of the game as part of a promotional programme for the IPL at a stadium which is expected to be a full house in New York on February 24, 2018. The most popular Indian digital and mobile entertainment platform, Hotstar, who are also the official broadcasters of the T20 League, would be organizing this whole communication programme. Hotstar made a sudden entry into the US market last year. The IPL 2018 games would be telecasted on the Willow channel in the US.

Kumble makes a return to mainstream cricket

Kumble has been a great loyal and wise servant of the Indian cricket all throughout his cricketing career, rattling the batsmen with his bagful of varieties and recording his name into the greats of the game. But now the leg-spinner has shown a clear interest of a possible involvement in the IPL 2018 with its official broadcasters Star Sports. After a rather harsh removal as the senior Indian team head coach last year, this would surely be a new beginning for the former Indian cricketer.

He might be seen doing the commentary along with other former cricketers in the upcoming global tournament. While his spin companion, Harbhajan would be playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) this year and once again performing his role under his former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, who would be captaining the CSK side.
