Glenn Maxwell takes a one-handed catch while having ice-cream: Glenn Maxwell has been one of the tremendous players in cricket and has managed to prove his class for a number of times. Recently, Maxwell did manage to show an instance of his talented brilliance by taking a one handed catch at the boundary line while holding an ice-cream in the other.

This occurred recently in a charity match at the Bardsley’s Keswick Lane Ground. Maxwell was representing the reigning county champions Yorkshire against a local village club of the area Bardsley. While on the field, Maxwell was enjoying his ice-cream when suddenly the ball was hit in the air and was coming to him. Maxwell maintained his perfect balance, held the ice-cream on his left hand and freed his right hand to take the catch close to the boundary line.

He did not drop a bit of the ice-cream which happened to be a Cornetto but the exact identity of the ice-cream is still unknown as per the reports of cricket.com.au on Wednesday.

And in the casual manner, after catching the ball quite easily, Maxwell took another bite of the ice-cream which even made the dismissed batsman, Ed Clayton applaud and appreciate his effort in the field.

The Victorian pinch-hitter scored a total of 27 runs and Yorkshire managed to sneak in a 3 run victory in front of the 400 spectators in the ground.

Maxwell is presently into the County Cricket and he hasn’t been included in the squad for the Ashes. Maxwell is thus focusing much upon his performances at the county level which could well cement his position further for the Australian national side in the limited overs’ format.

Maxwell will be leaving the Yorkshire side later this month to join the Australia A side for the two four day matches against India A in the subcontinent. After which, he would be featuring in a limited overs series between India A and South Africa A.
