Harbhajan Singh finishes shoot of his debut film Friendship

India cricketer Harbhajan Singh is still very much active on the cricket field. Even though he hasn’t played international cricket for a long time, the off-spinner features in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is currently associated with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He also played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a couple of season in 2018 and 2019 before missing out on the last edition of the T20 tournament.

Meanwhile, he is also having some fun off the field and is set to make his silver screen debut with the Tamil film Friendship. The fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release ever since it has been announced and Harbhajan has been busy shooting for the movie every now and then.

Now it has been understood that the cricketer has wrapped up the shooting for the film and is likely to start dubbing for it soon. The producer of the film, Kiran Reddy Mandadi was happy to share the news and praised Harbhajan Singh a lot for his contribution. “I feel extremely delighted to share that we have wrapped up the final schedule for Friendship.

“It was just an amazing experience working with the fun, ball of energy that Harbhajan is. He is now going to start his dubbing soon,” he said according to Latestly.

Film is packed with entertainment, says Kiran

The poster of the movie was also shared on the occasion of Harbhajan Singh’s birthday earlier this month on July 3. The 41-year-old is playing the role of a mechanical engineering student in the movie. Moreover, the Producer Kiran also revealed that the trailer of the movie could be released by the end of July.

“We, at Toughened Studios Limited, are looking forward to presenting the trailer of the film by the end of this month. The film has some great action sequences and is packed with entertainment while the audiences also get treated to Harbhajan Singh, one of the biggest names in sports who now also marks his name in the field of entertainment. We certainly cannot wait to take everyone through this journey of friendship,” Kiran added.
