Hasan Ali was one of the heroes for his team in Pakistan’s sensational Champions Trophy triumph last year. He picked wickets at regular intervals and made the ball talk after they were criticised heavily for their dismal show against India in the group stages. Currently, he forms a deadly bowling pair along with Mohammad Amir and no wonder the Men in Green one of the potent bowling attacks.

The 24-year-old has so far 33 One-Day Internationals, 22 T20Is and 4 Tests for his country and has picked a total of 107 wickets which is a decent record. Moreover, he has emerged as one of the best bowlers in the 50-overs format with three five-wicket hauls to his name. He is also third in the ICC Bowling rankings in the ODIs with 742 rating points only behind Jasprit Bumrah and Rashid Khan.

Who is the toughest batsman?

Hasan Ali was active on Twitter on Saturday for a question-answer session with his fans during which one of the fans asked him about the toughest batsman he’s ever bowled to. The young fast bowler responded as the Indian captain Virat Kohli in no time who is the World number 1 batsman at the moment albeit in the ODIs. Both of them have come across not many times with both the countries not facing each other much.

However, they will stack up against each other in the upcoming Asia Cup which is all set to commence on September 15. The much-awaited encounter between the two countries will be played on September 18 and it is likely that they face again in the Super 4 format of the tournament.

It will be a fascinating battle between Hasan Ali and Kohli then as both of them would be looking to get the better of each other. Moreover, both of them also have their injury issues to deal with as well to feature in the competition.
