The Indian bowlers allowed England tail-enders to add important runs to reach 400-mark only before their batsmen took the game in control at Mumbai. India picked 3 early wickets in the morning before Jos Buttler with a 76, added 54 runs for 9th wicket along with Jake Ball to help their side to 400. India lost KL Rahul’s wicket early but Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara’s century stand put them on 146/1 at end of the 2nd day’s play.
