After scripting a stunning victory in the four-match Test series and five-match T20I series by 3-1 and 3-2 respectively against England, India had a terrific start to their campaign in the three-match ODI series too as they won the first One Day International against the same opponents by a massive 66 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

It was an all-round performance by the hosts as they managed to outplay the England side in all three facets of the game be it bowling, batting, or fielding. After a sweet victory, the Indian players had an off-day as they relaxed in the hotel by partying on the poolside.

The pictures of Team India chilling out together have been going viral on social media with people showering their love in the form of likes and comments. The former Indian all-rounder and current head coach of Team India, Ravi Shastri took to his official Twitter handle to share a snap of him spending some leisure time with the boys.

“The pack that stays together. Bubble or no bubble. Results will come and go for others to follow. Great day in lovely Pune #TeamIndia” Ravi Shastri tweeted.

Wasim Jaffer makes a hilarious comment on KL Rahul

While many Indian cricket enthusiasts couldn’t help but admire the group photo, former Indian batsman and batting coach of IPL franchise Punjab Kings, Wasim Jaffer was quick to take note of the presence of wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul in the background and didn’t fail to troll the 28-year-old.

In the pic, KL can be seen standing a little away from the other players holding the son of his teammate and close friend Hardik Pandya, Agastya in his arms. Noticing the same, Jaffer, who is known for his wit and humor, took to his official Twitter handle to troll by saying that the Indian wicketkeepers have always been reliable babysitters.

With this statement, Wasim made reference to Australia’s Test captain Tim Paine’s infamous feud with Indian keeper Rishabh Pant during India’s tour of Australia 2018-19.

“See KL holding baby Agastya there. Indian WK bats are always reliable babysitters #INDvsENG” Wasim Jaffer commented
