Indian T20 League 2019, Qualifier 2: Chennai vs Delhi - NostraGamus Prediction, Match Preview and Playing 11

Chennai will have a face-off with Delhi for the second qualifier round of Indian Premier League 2019 (IPL).  This great battle between two of the top teams in the point table of Indian T20 League season 12 will be held on Friday, 10th of May at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam at 8 PM IST. This season has witnessed many sensational matches and one amongst them was the previous eliminator match between Delhi and Hyderabad which ended on the second last ball of the innings leading Delhi in the qualifier 2 of India T20 League.

Chennai, on the other hand, secured their position for qualifier 2 after losing to Mumbai. Chennai and Delhi will have a head-on to make it to the finals of the India T20 League 12. Both these teams will have a chance to make it to the finals of Indian T20 League 12. There is no doubt that Chennai is amongst one of the best teams.

They had an excellent session in the league stage matches and won 9 out of 14 matches but in the previous and their most important match against Mumbai they had to suffer a major defeat. This was the third time when they had to face defeat against MI and that to on their home ground where they are considered to be the most successful team.

This match will be very crucial for Chennai to make it to the final. Under the able guidance of MS Dhoni, Chennai’s bowling unit has been outstanding with Deepak Chahar, Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir, Dwayne Bravo, and Ravindra Jadeja all in good form. If they start Watson off, then the team will be set for the entire match, making a tough competition for Delhi.

Delhi were able to win their previous eliminator match against SRH. The match was cut-throat, but Delhi managed to make it to the qualifiers 2 for this season. Delhi has a good pair of openers who can chase the target.  With Keemo Paul, Ishant Sharma, Trent Boult and Amit Mishra, Delhi have a chance to make it to the final. Rishab Pant can prove to be a game changer for this match again. It will be interesting to see which team make it through.
