The Rising Pune Supergiant continue their rise in the points table as they move to the 3rd spot with their 7th win in 11 games as they defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens by 4 wickets. A collective bowling effort ensured the home side didn’t post big with none of their batsmen managing to convert their start. Chasing KKR’s total of 155/8, Rahul Tripathi launched an assault to smash KKR out of the game with his boundaries. He scored a brilliant 93 off 53 balls which including 9 fours and 7 big sixes.

0.763 – Kolkata Knight Riders’ win-loss ratio of 0.763 while batting first in the IPL is the 3rd lowest for any team that has batted first more than 50 times. KXIP have a ratio of 0.651 while DD have got 0.512 win-loss ratio.
