Sunrisers have one of the best no.3 in the business today in Kane Williamson. New Zealand captain will play an important role in setting up the totals for the side as he will look to hold one end and play through the innings. By no means could Williamson be taken lightly as he has proved his skills in T20s as well. His strike rate of 122.81 in T20Is with an average of around 37 will bode well for Sunrisers in the high-pressure tournament.

Yuvraj Singh, in his prime form is the most dangerous player on any given day. He will hope to contribute more this season though as his returns were mediocre for his side with only 236 runs in 10 matches. This year in the domestic circuit across all the formats he performed like a champion and stormed back into the national side. He also scored a sparkling century in his comeback series against England. His bowling skills will also be important as he is no longer a part-time bowler now. Warner and his team would hope he continues his rich vein of form as Sunrisers look to defend their title.

Deepak Hooda and Naman Ojha make up the middle order of the defending champions. Teams might target this area of Sunrisers may look the weakest but they could become the surprise package. Both of them have shown some good signs coming into the tournament and are having a good run for their sides in Vijay Hazare trophy. Hooda averages 53 so far in six matches whereas Naman Ojha averages around 38 in as many matches. Both of them have the ability to come good in crunch situations as more often than not they will have the responsibility to finish the games.
