Deepak Chahar has emerged as one of the star bowlers for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) this year with the new ball. His accuracy and the ability to swing the ball away from the batsmen has impressed many. While he just settling into his rhythm, a hamstring injury forced him to sit out of a few games which was disappointing. But he made a comeback in the last game for them and bowled an incisive spell to keep the batsmen on their toes as the skipper MS Dhoni used all his four overs up front given the way he was making the ball talk.

He ended his spell with sensational figures of 1/16 which is rare for the bowler in the shortest format of the game and was rightly awarded ‘Stylish Player of the Match’. CSK won the game easily by 8 wickets and sealed their berth in the playoffs as well.

Deepak’s sister Malti Chahar has been watching most of the matches by visiting the Stadium and is one of the die-hard fans of the Men in Yellow. She was proud of the performance from her brother and was thrilled after won the special award in the game. Both share a special brother-sister bonding and she came up with a special message for him after the game.

She posted the image of both in which Malti had clinched the trophy from Deepak and captioned it as, “Being brother and sister means being there for each other… and keep fighting always @deepak_chahar9 #siblings.”

Here’s Malti’s post for her brother (swipe right):

Deepak Chahar, in his comeback game, made an immediate impact for his team and impressed the captain Dhoni. It was his spell which kept a lid on the run-scoring of Hyderabad who were threatening to run away with a blazing start. He also went on to dismiss the most dangerous batsman of the opposition Alex Hales which was a set back for the visitors. Eventually, despite the heroics from Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan, SRH was only able to post 179 runs on the board.
