Former England spinner Phil Tufnell, in one of his most recent tweets, was in awe of the world’s biggest T-20 league. He is a great follower of the game given his broadcasting career that keeps him indulged to have a deep insight about the beautiful game that we love so much.
Wish I could have Dhoni as a skipper
Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is a public figure who is well respected all over the globe. His exploits on a cricket field are hidden to none. Recently, he found himself yet another cricket fan who was in complete awe of the captain cool. Tufnell, a cricketer-turned commentator took to Twitter to mention about his wish to play in the prestigious league that provides its fans with so much fun.
The 51-year old, who had represented England in the last decade on the 90s, wanted to have a go in the league with the best in the business. As per Tufnell, if he gets to make a personal choice, he will be tempted to make Dhoni as the skipper. The tweet read, ” Wished I could have played #IPL looks so much fun and if I could have chosen a Captain it would have been @msdhoni.”

Dhoni, in his recent appearances for the men in yellow, has set the league apart with some blistering knocks in the past few games. The tweet from Tufnell also came in during the match between RCB and CSK, that must have taken him back after seeing an IPL game celebrated just like any fervour in the city.
