Chris Jordan had a forgettable match against the Delhi Capitals as he conceded 56 runs without a wicket in his four overs which includes a match-turning over for the opposition, in which he gave away 30 runs. Even with the bat, Jordan failed badly as he was unable to score a run off the final delivery of the match and got out, giving a catch to short square leg.

In the meantime, Afghanistan’s mystery off spinner, Mujeeb Ur Rahman was seen out of the playing XI. Mujeeb was the second-highest wicket-taker in the recently concluded CPL 2020 with 16 wickets in the competition and the cricket fraternity was confused with the skipper’s decision to keep him out of the game on a pitch that is generally spin-friendly.

Mujeeb has played a lot of cricket for his nation on UAE pitches and has a lot of experience on these tracks. Mujeeb is also a handy bowler with the new ball and with him in the team, Shami can take up the death bowling duties of the team.
