The 44th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will witness the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) locking horns in the Super Sunday doubleheader at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.

Apart from the obvious hype around a Chennai-Bangalore clash due to the sheer contrast in the personalities of the two captains, there is too little to watch out for. With a highly uncharacteristic campaign to their favour, CSK is coming after a humiliating 10-wicket defeat against the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians. Having just three victories in eleven games, the doors of playoffs are almost closed for them.

On the other hand, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have done exceedingly well to keep their campaign on the right track from the inception of this year’s edition. Giving many reasons to their loyal fan base to cheer for, Virat Kohli’s men have won seven games out of the ten they have played and will fancy their chances to inch closer to the qualification against the down and out Super Kings.

For you to be able to pick the perfect Dream11 team, here are three players you can afford to exclude for the RCB vs CSK game:

MS Dhoni (9 credits)

Regardless of how hard it seems to digest, MS Dhoni has certainly not been up to the mark this year. He batted much lower in the order in the initial leg of the tournament and therefore, did not get the amount of time he would have wanted for himself in the middle. However, even promoting himself as the tournament progressed has been of little help. This has been the first season where Dhoni has not managed to score even a single half-century despite featuring in 11 matches. In 10 innings, MS has scored just 180 runs at 25.71.

Aaron Finch (8.5 credits)

Despite having a reputation as a hard-hitter, Aaron Finch has not been able to justify the tag this year. Striking much lower than his standards, Finch has found the going tough more often than not and has been under slight pressure due to the same. Though he got a couple of good scores in between, his overall tally for the season has been underwhelming. In 10 innings this year, he has scored 221 runs at 22.10 and has struck at 110.50.

Gurkeerat Singh Mann (8 credits)

Given his decent credit requirement, one might be tempted to pick Mann. However, a major issue with him has always been consistency. Without making any noticeable performance for his team, Mann’s poor run has often been cloaked by the performance of the other big names around him. With just 40 runs in 5 innings this year, there is little he has done to be in your Dream11 team for this encounter.
