Evin Lewis is a major presence in most T20 tournaments across the globe. Although he has been a tad inconsistent, Lewis still has a great market value. It did surprise some fans when Mumbai Indians released the player as there is no way they can retain him for a price lesser than what they were paying earlier.

Going by his recent form, he could get into any side as a backup opener as well and is a strong contender to end up with the Orange Army.

A few months ago, Tom Banton was an unknown name in the cricketing universe but his performances in the Vitality Blast caught the attention of a major segment. He went on to make his debut shortly after England&#8217;s <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/australia-announce-15-man-squad-for-the-u19-world-cup-jake-fraser-mcgurk-to-lead-the-unit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">World Cup </a>triumph and looked sharp with his stroke-making. At 21, he definitely is one of the brightest talents in world cricket.
He has a very clean and clear batting technique and avoids complications while trying to clear his front leg before going for a smack. He doesn&#8217;t back away from playing his shots and is a fabulous driver of the cricket ball. His ability to combat the spinners will be under scrutiny on the dry pitches in India, but it is almost certain that he will earn a huge contract.
Again, he fits into a lot of setups who are looking to buy players who can fetch them great returns in the long run. Although he might spend a couple of seasons in the IPL not getting many games, if he can prove his worth in the few chances he gets, we all will be talking very highly of this youngster from Nottingham.

It was surprising to see <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/kkr-kolkata-knight-riders/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kolkata Knight Riders</a> release Chris Lynn this season, despite performing decently for the side. But the move was understandable as Lynn cost them a whopping INR 9.4 crore and maybe the return he was giving wasn&#8217;t meeting their expectations. The rumour has it that the Knight Riders will definitely go back for him at a cheaper price tag.
Lynn notched 495 and 401 runs in the last two seasons and his strike-rate is always above the 140-mark. Without a debate, he is one of the best openers available in the auction and there are teams in dire need of a talent like him. If he can end up playing a good 10-15 overs, he has the talent to capture half the game for his side.
It&#8217;ll be interesting to see if franchises still look at him with the same awe. Besides the usual suspects in Kolkata Knight Riders, the likes of Sunrisers Hyderabad and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/best-mumbai-indians-mi-xi-that-played-for-india-at-the-international-level/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mumbai Indians</a> could attempt to win his services. It&#8217;ll be tough for him to go under a price of INR 6 Crore going by the current availability and circumstances.
