Sunrisers Hyderabad is almost at a stage where they will get knocked out, but it is just about a matter of time. Having said that, Punjab Kings should fancy themselves to win this match. But, they should be wary about the fact that Sunrisers’ only win in iPL 2021 so far came against Punjab. Well, the match still gives a great opportunity to earn fantasy points.

Here are three players to avoid in the fantasy team for the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings:

  1. David Warner

David Warner is having a bit of an off-season as far as 2021 is concerned. Since the last season of IPL ended, Warner hasn’t been in the best of forms with the bat. While batting form can go up and down a bit, it is the lack of fluent strokeplay which is becoming a concern for Warner, considering this quality has defined him throughout his career.

In the first game back in the UAE leg, it seemed he was struggling against pace and being late getting to the ball at times. It should be noted that he hasn’t had a lot of game time in the past six months. It is risky to pick him given the assortment of batters available in this contest.

  1. Fabian Allen

Fabian Allen is an extremely effective cricketer but it seems he has been identified as a floater in the Punjab Kings squad. A floater is essentially someone who can take up several roles, bat at several stages of the game, based on the situation in which the team is placed.

In the last game, Allen was not given an over with the ball, and it might continue even in this game. He is unlikely to bat higher than No. 5. While he could win Punjab a game in an over or so, it won’t be enough to win you lots of fantasy points.

  1. Kedar Jadhav

Kedar Jadhav is nowhere the player he was a couple of years back. It is even more shocking to accept that because two years back he was in the Indian ODI squad. His T20 numbers were never anything to be proud about and it has always seemed that he lacks a third and a fourth gear as a batter. There seems no position at this moment that could suit his style of batting, as he isn’t really scoring any runs. It is better to leave him out of your fantasy team.
