IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for SRH vs MI match

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 55th match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This encounter will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

And, ahead of this contest, cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal playing XIs of both sides. Chopra feels that there is no realistic possibility for the Mumbai side to qualify for the Playoffs this year.

Chopra wants Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav to score runs, while he wants Rahul Chahar to get a chance in the MI playing XI for this encounter. Chopra also revealed that he wants Hardik Pandya to bowl as well.

Aakash Chopra feels that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have started playing well at the fag end of the tournament, and added that he wants the ‘Orange Army’ to give the fans something to cheer about.

Chopra did not suggest any particular change to be made to the Hyderabad playing XI for the encounter against the five-time IPL champions. Chopra is also eager to see tearaway pacer Umran Malik in action. Chopra concluded by stating that even though there might not be a lot of ‘context’ in this match, he expects to see a good contest.

The Mumbai Indians are currently placed at the 6th spot in the points table and have emerged triumphant in 6 out of their 13 matches. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outfit is occupying the last place in the table and has only won 3 out of its 13 encounters.
