Despite being one of the stars of India’s U-19 World Cup 2022 winning campaign, Rajvardhan Hangargekar is yet to play a single game for CSK this season.
Hangargekar was picked up for a whopping INR 1.5 crore by CSK in the mega auction which was held just a week after the U-19 World Cup, which made the cricketing world stand up and take notice of the young prodigy’s rise.
However, fans were surprised to see Rajvardhan cheering for CSK in the stands rather than playing for them on the field. His inclusion in the playing XI is highly anticipated as he has the ability to get early breakthroughs for his team and can also play some cameos with the bat.
