Daniel Sams hasn’t performed up to the expectations for Mumbai Indians so far in the tournament. His final over during their match against Delhi Capitals (DC) changed the fate of the match. Besides, he went for 57 runs in his four overs as well. During the game against the Rajasthan-based franchise, Sams gave 32 runs in his four overs, without picking a wicket. He wasn’t impressive with the bat in hand either.

On the other hand, Fabian Allen can be a good utility pick. Moreover, Mumbai doesn’t have a spinner other than Murugan Ashwin in their XI and he can fill that gap efficiently as he is a decent spinner capable of taking crucial wickets. Last but not the least, Allen can hit the ball a long way as well.

Therefore, Fabian Allen might make his debut for MI in place of Daniel Sams as he will provide solid support in both the bowling and the batting department. He is an excellent fielder too.
