IPL 2022: 3 Players to avoid in fantasy teams for LSG vs DC game

Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals will battle it out in the 15th match of IPL 2022 on Thursday. LSG have won their previous two matches and would be looking to make it three in a row. Apart from Manish Pandey, every other batter has contributed in the three matches for LSG. The addition of Jason Holder has strengthened their bowling attack which already had bowlers like Avesh Khan, Andrew Tye, and Ravi Bishnoi. Delhi Capitals, led by Rishabh Pant, have had a bittersweet journey so far. DC spent INR 1.1 crores to get Mandeep Singh in the team during the auction. He has been given the number 3 position to bat but has failed to deliver in both the matches. In the first game, Mandeep was out for a duck after facing two deliveries. In the second game, he did make 18 runs off 16 deliveries but that was not enough as DC went on to lose. DC might look at some other players who can provide some sort of stability in this game and you can avoid Mandeep in your fantasy team.

2. Khaleel Ahmed

Khaleel Ahmed has managed to pick 4 wickets in 2 matches for DC at an average of 15.25 and an economy of 7.65. DC might include Anrich Nortje in place of Khaleel in this game. Shardul Thakur is another candidate who DC might think of resting as he is yet to pick a wicket and has leaked runs at an economy of 11.15. But Thakur provides certain stability to the batting unit with his pinch-hitting abilities. Hence, you can avoid Khaleel in your fantasy team for this game and pick some other bowlers.

3. Manish Pandey

As mentioned earlier, Manish Pandey is the only batter for LSG who is yet to score some decent amount of runs. In the 3 matches so far, he has managed to go past a single-digit score only once. In the previous match, he made 11 runs off 10 deliveries. LSG fought a tough battle against SRH and DC in the auction to get the services of the first Indian centurion in the IPL. He has a lot of experience and has shown in the past what he brings to the table. However, his recent form suggests that you might look at other batters in your fantasy team and leave him.
