Being asked to bowl first David Warner said: “We were going to bowl anyway. During the day anything could happen, it could be a nice batting wicket or it could be low and slow. A loss in the last game was a minor hiccup and it’s about coming here fresh. Two changes with Ben Cutting coming in for Williamson, and Karn Sharma in for Barinder Sran.”

After winning the toss Kings XI skipper opted to bat first. They made just one change in the squad. Murali Vijay said: “We will bat first. The wicket is dry and won’t change much. Just want to use the conditions and put up a score. One change with Anureet coming in for KC Cariappa. It’s about playing the cricket which we want to play and putting the opposition under pressure.”
