Kings XI Punjab appoint Anand Chulani as performance coach

The Kings XI Punjab appointed Anand Chulani as their peak performance coach for the ninth season of the Indian Premier League.
Anand Chulani comes into the Kings XI Punjab fold with a big reputation. He has worked directly with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Fortune 500 companies as an analyst. He has also been associated with the Kings XI Punjab previously.
“I am excited to work with Kings XI Punjab because I believe we have a team, coach, support staff, management and set of owners who are committed not just to winning a championship but building a championship culture that breeds mentally and emotionally fit, high performing, team-driven players that compete as a team at the highest level every day,” said Chulani.
“It’s a privilege to be able to contribute to that and my mission is to help all of them develop the mindset, strategy and resources to be happy, confident, successful world-changing champions who empower and inspire others to be champions. I am looking forward to working with the players this season.”
Chulani’s reputation has also seen him work with many companies in both sports and entertainment in a bid to help them perform to the best of their abilities. He has also worked with cricketers such as Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Steve Smith. He has also worked with Serena Williams as a performance coach.
Chulani will work closely with the Kings XI Punjab board and their players. The Kings XI franchise is co-owned by Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman and Karan Paul.
