Krunal Pandya lived his dream of being in the Indian dressing room during the three-match T20I series against England. Despite the fact that he warmed the bench, he would have learned a lot during his stay with the team. Moreover, it was the first time that he was sharing the Indian team dressing room with his brother Hardik Pandya. However, he has left England with some fantastic memories in his mind.

The left-arm spinner was included in the squad at the eleventh hour after Washington Sundar was ruled out of the T20Is due to the foot injury. At the time, Pandya was in England with the India ‘A’ side involved in the One-Day tri-series against the Lions and Windies A. He was impressive in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the last couple of seasons and a decent show in the tri-series led to his selection in the team.

Team India registered a famous victory in Bristol as they chased down the mammoth total of 199 runs to win the series by 2-1. But, the older Pandya had to leave after a memorable series as he was only picked in the shortest format. However, before leaving, he didn’t forget to take the autograph of his younger brother Hardik. The latter was brilliant in the deciding game picking 4 wickets with the ball and then went on play a quickfire knock of 33 runs with the willow.

Krunal Pandya posted the picture of him taking an autograph of Hardik on his India jersey and captioned it with a message which read, “Up on the wall in my drawing room will this go next. Privileged to be the senior Pandya! #Number24.”

It remains to be seen now if Krunal will be picked again in the side after Sundar gets fit as he was preferred spinner in the squad earlier for the selectors.
