This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 32 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Rajasthan Royals (DD). The match will be staged at the Feroz Shah Kotla, which is the home venue for the Daredevils. Delhi are under tremendous pressure and are languishing at the bottom of the table with a couple of wins from eight attempts.

Rajasthan are also in a precarious position having won three out of seven games. The strip at the Kotla turned out to be a batting paradise where the home time smashed away to a massive score. In the next game, the crowd could be in for another run fest. Meanwhile, Rajasthan will be hoping to make amends after a dismal outing. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:

Delhi Daredevils vs Rajasthan Royals

Batsmen

Consistency should be paramount in order to select the batsmen. From Delhi, Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw has been picked. Shaw has been impressive opening the batting and hasn’t seemed to strain one bit. Iyer has definitely been the Daredevils’ most consistent batsmen and warrants a place. Most importantly, he plays with minimum risks and hence chances of him getting the runs are pretty high. From Rajasthan Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson makes into the eleven.

Both batsmen have been amongst the runs, especially Samson who has looked in ominous touch and has hit the ball cleanly. Also, his batting gives an assurance that the scoreboard will keep ticking in the middle overs. Rahane hasn’t played a match-winning knock yet but has consistently chipped in with scores inside the 30s, which is exactly required in Fantasy Leagues. Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson have been made the captain and the vice-captain respectively.

All-rounder

Ben Stokes and Glenn Maxwell are the all-rounders who would walk into any Fantasy League team owing to their all-round abilities. Though Maxwell hasn’t been in the greatest of form with the willow, he has picked up wickets with the leather. Moreover, he can get quick points for the team with a short, yet breezy knock. He is also more than a handy fielder which can gather points as well.

Ben Stokes hasn’t performed out of expectations. However, he is a huge risk to be left out of the team. He is Rajasthan’s impact player and if he comes into his own, he can be a dangerous customer to deal with. Krishnappa Gowtham is the other all-rounder, who has delivered the goods. He bowls in the power-plays and has picked up some vital wickets and hasn’t given away many runs either.

Wicketkeeper

Rishabh Pant has to be the obvious pick as the wicketkeeper. He has been in tremendous form and has managed to score plenty of runs in the middle order. Also, he has shown an excellent temperament, which was visible during Delhi’s game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Moreover, he scores the runs at a rapid rate, which can only help the cause of scoring runs.

Bowlers

Specialist bowlers need to be selected with utmost care as the pitch won’t provide much assistance to either to the pacers nor the spinners. Trent Boult, Jofra Archer and Avesh Khan are the fast bowlers which have to be picked in the team. Boult has undoubtedly been taken to the cleaners by MS Dhoni, but apart from that, he has been in phenomenal form with the leather.

Archer has picked up wickets right from the very first game. His Yorkers have been lethal and he has emerged as a genuine wicket-taker for the Royals. Also, he clocks nearly 150 kmph, which makes shot-making even more difficult for the batsmen. Avesh Khan is the other bowler in the team, who has also nipped out wickets.
