This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 45 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The battle will be ideally for the wooden spoon as both the teams have no chances of qualifying for the playoffs. Though there is still a little sniff for Virat Kohli and his Men they will have to win all their remaining games by a decent margin. Though it won’t be easy for them certainly against this Delhi side who will now look to spoil the season for other teams.

Shreyas Iyer would be lamenting some poor bowling last night against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after Rishabh Pant played one of his best T20 innings. On the other hand, Kohli would finally want his men to step up to the task and perform to their potential. Batsmen

I have changed my thinking a lot about this game as I have taken a risk by making Prithvi Shaw the captain. Jason Roy is the other batsman from Delhi who might cut loose as they have nothing to lose now. The opening pair can trouble RCB bowlers if they attack in the powerplay. Now it goes without saying that the other two batsmen in the team are Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers who are two of the best batsmen in the world cricket currently. I have gone with an extra option of Mandeep Singh given his ability to tonk the ball who will also work as a back up for me if the other two fail to deliver.

All-Rounders

Here again, I am not completely certain on whom to pick and finally decided to go with Glenn Maxwell and Colin de Grandhomme. There are a lot of options in this department for you but none of them must be sure about themselves to play in this game. Both the teams have done a lot of changes during the course of the tournament and are set to make even more in this game it seems. I went with two of the safest options who have fewer chances of getting dropped from the team.

Wicketkeeper

Only one option and nobody will argue here and he is Rishabh Pant. He played a delightful inning against SRH last night and is likely to continue in the same form. Though one can have Parthiv Patel in the team as well as it is a gamble. If Pant fails and Parthiv scores even a half-century, his points will be like a bonus.

Bowlers

Trent Boult is the only bowler from the hosts’ side in my team. None of them have been economical and must be low on confidence after the thrashing they received from Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson. Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj have been bowling exceedingly well for RCB in the last few games and no wonder I am thrilled to have them in my line-up. This was the duo which defended 35 off last three overs against Mumbai Indians (MI) and have continued to pick wickets at the death.
