The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has given a great news to the Mumbaikars ahead of the 4th Test between India and England. The cricket association has announced free passes for students to watch the high action game starting on December 8. In an announcement made by the MCA, the state association said that the school and college students will get free passes for the 4th Test of the series.

However, the free passes will be given away on the fourth and the fifth day of the Test match. “The passes will be issued against a letter from the school/college signed by the Principal on first come first serve basis. Each school/college will be allotted a maximum 15 passes for the said match,” said a media release from MCA on December 2 (Friday).

The association has also come up with a few more plans for the highly anticipated game. As per the release, MCA is set to introduce a series of events during the match. These events will include interactive sessions between the spectators and the cricketers. The former cricketers will be expected to talk to the spectators during the breaks.

“The Association has also planned a series of events, including interaction with former and current Indian cricketers during the breaks, to enable spectators to meet and talk to them,” the MCA release mentioned.

Wankhede stadium in Mumbai last hosted a Test match way back in November 2013. It was the Test between India and West Indies and the ground had witnessed the historic farewell Test of the legend Sachin Tendulkar. It is now all set to host a Test match after a gap of 3 years.

India currently lead the 5-match series 2-0. After having drawn the game at Rajkot, India won convincingly at Vizag and Mohali. The Indian team looks set for the 4th Test and England have roped in a few replacements. Keaton Jennings and Liam Dawson were added to the squad at the expense of Haseeb Hameed and Zafar Ansari.

The fourth Test between India and England is scheduled to be played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai starting December 8.
