It was a normal day in the South Australian city of  Adelaide and some people were enthralling the viewers with their individual and collective performances on the cricket field. While things looked perfect at that point in time, they were in for a shock when a car gate crashed the live cricket match suddenly.

Not only did the intruders take everyone at the venue by surprise but, they would also be handcuffed and put behind the bars later on since the car that had barged into the area was stolen property. Reportedly, a 29-year-old male driver and his 26-year-old passenger had stolen the car from Royal Park the previous night.

The car was coming straight to us but luckily the driver changed the direction: Kuldeep Dhungana

One of the players named Kuldeep Dhungana who was on the field when this happened narrated the entire incident to 9News. “The car was coming straight to us but luckily the driver changed the direction. It could have easily been a lot worse because the speed that car was going was really huge, even a small collision could be life-threatening,” he said. Meanwhile, the SA Police have confirmed that luckily there was no case of injuries.

The car that was stolen happened to be a red Holden Commodore and the incident happened at 3:20 pm local time when the owner of the property witnessed the automobile being driven in the Largs Bay area. The person reportedly confronted the offenders but was forced to back down after they threatened to hurt him with an axe after which the thieves got into the car and fled from the spot.

Once this was brought to the notice of the police officials, the patrols spotted the car on Port Road and they decided to take down the duo by all means possible. After gate-crashing a cricket match, the duo also drove rashly before finally abandoning the vehicle at Park Terrace in Bowden in order to escape. An image showed that the front portion of the car was completely damaged. Nonetheless, the offenders failed to get away with their actions as the police nabbed them shortly. Multiple charges have been pressed against them.
