Overwhelmed Hardik Pandya responds to his brother Krunal's lovely message

Hardik returned with the figures of 5/28 on the second day of the ongoing third Test.

Hardik Pandya rose to the occasion at Trent Bridge on a super Sunday and grabbed his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests. His sensational spell of six overs turned the game on its head and helped his team bundle England out for a meagre total of 161 runs. If not for Jos Buttler‘s counterattack, the score would’ve stayed only to 130. He is being praised a lot all over the world for his heroics and his brother Krunal Pandya also was proud of his achievement to which Hardik has responded now and showed his love.

He came on to bowl when the game was in the balance and both the teams needed a brilliant effort to get an upper hand over each other. At the same time, Virat Kohli had to introduce Hardik into the attack only because India’s lead spinner Ravi Ashwin was not on the field due to an injury. But the youngster didn’t disappoint and picked the most important wicket of Joe Root off the very first delivery and this is where the game changed.

He then made superb use of the conditions and swung the ball both ways which caught England batsmen off the guard. They fell like ninepins and before the hosts realised, they were reduced to 128/9 and India’s all-rounder had scalped his first ever five-wicket haul.

Krunal and Hardik’s brotherly love

Krunal Pandya was extremely proud of his brother’s feat who had received immense criticism for his role in the team. Moreover, many were in the favour of him to be dropped for Ravindra Jadeja in this Test. But the way he came out on top has made him the shining light of the team at the moment.

Krunal posted the video of Hardik Pandya showing the ball to the crowd who were giving him a standing ovation and captioned it as, “You keep getting better day by day and I keep running out of words to praise you day by day. Well done, Bhai!!! @hardikpandya7.” Hardik, however, was overwhelmed to see the lovely message from his brother and responded to him as the fans kept gushing about their love towards each other.
