West Indies decorated all-rounder Kieron Pollard is a complete T20 player as he excels in all three facets of the game be it batting, bowling, or fielding. Pollard took over the reins of the ODI and T20I teams from Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaite respectively in September 2019.

There has been a significant improvement in the Caribbean team’s performance especially in the shortest format of the game since the appointment of Pollard. The decorated all-rounder has, many times, shown a glimpse of his leadership qualities in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Pollard has brilliantly led Mumbai Indians (MI) in the absence of their main skipper Rohit Sharma. The 34-year-old boasts of having a win percentage of 46.66 while captaining the West Indies.

In the time span of 2019 to 2021, the Trinidadian cricketer has led West Indies as many as 17 times. While they secured victory seven times, the result didn’t go in their favor in eight matches. The two games played by West Indies were also abandoned.
