Even after more than a decade of getting married, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are still some of the most talked-about celebrity couples. Both the personalities are quite successful in their respective fields of sport. The couple celebrated their 11th marriage anniversary recently and the tennis star took to social media to frame a beautiful post for her husband.
Sania uploaded a heart-warming post on Instagram. She uploaded a couple of pictures of herself with Shoaib. She also wrote a lovely message for the Pakistan cricketer. Both Mirza and Malik have a huge fan following on social media. Over the years, fans have seen them going through strength to strength and grow their stature as sports personalities.

Sania wrote on Instagram, “Through ‘thick’ and ‘thin’ they said through good and bad Happy Anniversary to my main.. to many more years of irritating you InshaAllah 11 YEARS!!!” The post went viral and it received more than 200k likes. This is also a representation of her popularity on social media. She has more than 7 million followers on Instagram.

The couple had got married way back in 2010. They got married in a traditional Hyderabadi ceremony held at the Taj Krishna Hotel. After the wedding, the couple had a post-wedding ceremony which took in Pakistan’s Sialkot. The couple has a son, named Izhaan Mirza Malik. The little Izhaan was born in September 2018.
At that time, the couple had announced the birth of their first child through Twitter. One of the pictures which were uploaded by Mirza in her anniversary post was a sweet photo that was taken during her pregnancy. Talking about her achievements, she is regarded as the best ever female tennis player from India. Her, marrying Malik was a piece of huge news back in the day, and had social media existed then like now, it would have been flooded with posts for the couple. Shoaib Malik was also a huge celebrity then, as he had already finished his tenure as Pakistan captain. He had led his national team to the T20 World Cup final finish in 2007.
