Jasprit Bumrah shared a picture of an old poster of an ad featuring Kapil Dev. The star pacer tagged the former India captain in his post and asked him to have a look.

When cricket enthusiasts discuss the best Indian fast bowlers of all time, the names of Bumrah and Kapil invariably pop up as they have managed to find places in the hearts of every fan of the sport with their sheer talent and consistent performances. There is also a lot of mutual admiration between the two right-arm pacers and they have lavished praises on each other on several occasions during their interviews.

On Tuesday, March 5, Bumrah shared a picture of an old ad poster of a cable TV operator called 'Kapil's Cable' on his official 'X' (formerly Twitter) handle. The Haryana Hurricane's picture was used on the poster.

"Look what I found, @therealkapildev paji. App ke zamane mein aap ke zamane ki ad," Bumrah wrote in his tweet.

Jasprit Bumrah's stunning numbers in the India versus England Test series

The 30-year-old has been in excellent form since he returned from a back injury last year. In the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England, Bumrah has shown his class, picking up 17 wickets in three games at an average of 13.65 and a strike rate of 28.53. Conditions haven't been in his favour but that hasn't stopped him from giving nightmares to the English batters.

Bumrah was rested for the fourth Test, which India won by five wickets in Ranchi to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series. He has returned to the side for the fifth Test, which gets underway on Thursday, March 7 in Dharamsala.

England won the first Test in Hyderabad before losing three games on the trot in Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, and Ranchi. While the series is already decided, the last encounter cannot be termed a dead rubber as important World Test Championship (WTC) points are on the line.
