Match 25 of the ongoing The Hundred 2023 saw Trent Rockets take on Birmingham Phoenix at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, on Saturday, August 19. Coming in to bat first after losing the toss, Trent Rockets put forth a good performance with the bat.

However, the highlight of the first innings was when the Rockets’ top-order batter, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, was seen wearing a Q-collar. The photo instantly went viral on the internet, as the Q-Collar has been widely used by NFL players and footballers to protect themselves from concussions or brain damage.

Seeing the advancement in protection for the cricketers, fans responded positively to the viral picture of Tom Kohler-Cadmore wearing the Q-collar. Notably, the collar absorbs the intensity of the shock generated when any collision or ball hits the neck. As a result, the overall impact on the neck gets minimised significantly, which leads to preventing any serious damage to the brain.
